1st Virtual COMMTuesday – All About Virtual Learning!

On September 29th, 3:30PM-4:30PM, the TCNJ Communication Studies Department Student Advisory Board hosted its first COMMTuesday event virtually on Zoom! About 15 students attended, topics discussed ranged from advice for virtual learning to a PAWS tutorial for satisfying different major requirements.

We also had the opportunity for different student representatives from Her Campus, WSTR, New York Women in Communications, Lions TV, and more to come speak about their organization and how students can get involved! All students were engaged and enthusiastic during this zoom session and were excited to get to know others in their major! We encourage more Communications Studies students to attend and take advantage of these meetings that could help them throughout the semester.

The Student Advisory Board will bring new and innovative topics to the next COMMTuesday, so be on the lookout for our next meeting on October 27th! It will be held at 3:30PM with an end time TBD. We’ll love to see new faces!
