Nancy Bowne on her trip to The White House
On October 19th, 2022, Nancy Bowne, ’23 was invited to The White House to interview chiefs of staff and policy advisors from President Biden’s executive office, among other student members of the national World College Radio Day board. They also met Vice President Kamala Harris, notably discussing student debt relief plans and clean energy initiatives.
This trip was a personal recognition of some of Nancy’s future career goals in public service and policy research, all within the framework of bringing truth and multiple perspectives within the media. (Nancy is an International Studies student and the outgoing program manager of 91.3 WTSR FM as well as president of the Mixed Signals Improv Comedy Troupe).
