Edmonson is a queer theatre artist who, after graduation, completed the Arden Professional Apprentice Program at Arden Theatre Company in Philadelphia, where he now serves as Development Manager. He is also the founder and Artistic Director of The Strides Collective, a theatre company that produces and develops work by emerging playwrights that embraces the queer experience through authentic storytelling. His work as a freelance director has been featured on stages throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. As a playwright, his work has been produced with Frigid NY, The Strides Collective, Revolution Shakespeare, The Jersey Fringe Festival, Langhorne Players, The College of New Jersey, and The Venice Island Performing Arts Center.
