Building on a decade of staff editorial roles, Plasket has combined her passions for journalistic storytelling, education and technology for good as Manager of Marketing Communications at FIRST, an international youth-serving nonprofit with a mission to inspire interest in STEM through PreK-12 robotics challenges. She manages the team responsible for web and email marketing communications and develops a range of editorial content to build awareness of the FIRST mission and impact and inspire and engage audience.
At TCNJ, she double majored in Journalism and Interactive Multimedia. Her TCNJ experience helped her learn to write and produce across a variety of platforms, land early jobs at Scholastic and TIME magazine, and later shift to marketing communications roles.
