After graduating Fall ‘21 Lana Leonard (they/them) started interning with GLAAD Media Institute, a national LGBTQ+ media advocacy organization, as a journalist. Leonard has since moved to NYC and has been hired by GLAAD as a contracted part-timer. When they aren’t working with GLAAD, Leonard freelances for LGBTQ+ news outlets as well as produces, directs and hosts their own talk show, Late Nights with Lana, (soon to be adapted into a podcast) based on the Jersey Shore. The show’s mission is to find inclusion, and newsworthiness in the living history of communities on the Jersey Shore.
