Welcome to the Transfer Students’ Information page!
You will have received an informational email already. In case you need those documents, or guidance on our website, we’ve set up this page to help out.

Please reach out directly to the Chair with any specific academic questions.
- Fill out the Transfer Student Survey
- Complete the Specialization Form (Fillable PDF) – highlighted areas only. (Form is titled, “Change of Major.”)
- Make sure to use a PDF software (Google DocHub, Apple Preview, Adobe, etc.) to complete the form. Word/Google Docs will not work.
Once you’ve filled out the forms, please make sure to
- Upload Specialization Form
- Upload any syllabi you need evaluated by our Chair for possible transfer credit for Communication Studies courses.
- All other course evaluations go directly through Records & Registration.
- Hit SUBMIT on the survey.
Once your survey is submitted, our department will contact you for course selections, and then assign an academic advisor for you. Please make sure to prepare your Program Planner for your first advising session.

PAWS Course Offerings: Select “COM” for the department and look for courses with seats available. To use the PAWS search function, first select the semester and then the department, whether COM or World Languages, or Art, etc.
PAWS Course Descriptions: You can also look at all our courses, read descriptions right there in PAWS.
Just select “Browse Course Catalog.”
